Property

Members of this Church have no property rights and upon termination of membership, they shall be entitled to no personal interests in the assets. In the event of the dissolution of the corporation, property owned by this Church, either real or personal, or any proceeds realized upon liquidation shall become the property of the Southwest Conservative Baptist of America (SWCBA), as long as the association complies with Article 4 of this Constitution.

Quorums

1. Unless otherwise specified in this document, a quorum at all business meetings will consist of fifteen percent (15%) of the voting active members present, and all actions shall pass by a simple majority.

2. In the meetings of all teams, and of any of the boards, a simple majority of members of such bodies shall constitute a quorum for decisive action on any matter.

3. In the absence of a quorum at any church, board, or team meeting, matters may be discussed but decisive action shall be deferred until a quorum is present.

4. Absentee ballots may be obtained from the church office when a voting member is out of town, for sickness, or family emergency.
